Pilot Study Funded by RAND

We have just completed collecting the data for our first pilot study sponsored by the RAND Corporation. All information collected is anonymous, as we strictly adhere to Doctor-Patient privacy laws. Preliminary results of our study show that MediCann medical marijuana users come from a variety of socio-economic backgrounds. Over 95% of patients used cannabis prior to using it medicinally. Most patients use marijuana for chronic pain, and particularly lower back pain. Anxiety, insomnia and migraine headaches follow closely as some of the most frequent illnesses treated by medical marijuana.
